We at Harvey & Lewis Opticians provide full service eye exams through our affiliated eye doctors, as well as complete contact lens services. In addition, we carry designer eyewear from Gucci, Prada, Kate Spade, Nine West, Dolce & Gabbana, Coach and many more. We also offer sunglasses from Maui Jim, Oakley and Ray Ban.
There are nine retail locations in the Greater Hartford area including: Downtown Hartford, Hartford Hospital, West Hartford, Glastonbury, Kensington, Bristol, UConn Health Center in Farmington, Canton and Enfield Opticians in Enfield, Connecticut.
We are a fourth generation family business based in Hartford, Connecticut. Founded in 1890 by Foster Harvey and Robert Lewis, it is still run by the Lewis Family.
All lenses continue to be custom ground in house at our state-of-the-art digital lens grinding laboratory in East Hartford. This facility uses the latest in world class machinery designed and manufactured in Connecticut by Coburn Technologies of South Windsor.
Harvey & Lewis participates with most major eye care insurers including EyeMed, VSP, Spectera and Superior Vision.
