Brothers Samson and Samuel Matson started the business selling, cleaning, and repairing rugs in 1946. When Samuel moved to the West Coast, Samson decided to continue the business changing the name from Matson Brothers to Matson Rugs. As time went on, the business was expanded to offer carpet, vinyl, wood, laminate, and tile.
Matson Rugs is centrally located with ample free parking and is located between the Kensington Fire Department and Rite Aid Pharmacy.
