Our goal is to spotlight the Meriden Markham Municipal Airport and to
showcase aircraft and Public Safety providers, both local and State.
A local airport has the potential to impact the economic development
of a City. Meriden is on the verge of seeing the greatest improvements
it has ever known: from the new train station and transit-oriented district
to the daylighting of Harbor Brook and a new downtown ‘green’. Now is
the time to draw others in to see what Meriden is all about! Our airport
is a hidden 'gem' in our city – capable of helping to improve economic
growth and quality of life issues. Public safety is of utmost importance
to all our residents. We are proud to highlight these individuals. We are
looking forward to this educational and fun day for all.
