About
The United Methodist Church is a mission-based community of believers. John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Movement in England, wrote these words in 1790: “Do not you know that God entrusted you with that money (above what buys necessaries for your family) to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to help the stranger, the widow, the fatherless; and, indeed, as far as it will go to relieve the wants of all mankind.”
We encourage church members to be active in church and community based mission / outreach activities, whether locally or around the world.
