Higgins Brothers’ Vision Care was founded in October 1982 by Dr. Donald and David Higgins when they both came back to their hometown of Plainville, CT. A new era in eye care had begun. The Higgins Brothers’ were the first to combine eye care and optical services in the same location on a same-day basis. Patients could come to our office for their eye exam, and leave with their glasses. Glasses as you wait became a reality! Their desire to be first and best in their industry remains the same today, constantly upgrading knowledge and technology as soon as it becomes available.
